Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation and rescheduling of tutoring sessions provided by Yew Trades Ltd ("Company") through our online tutoring website. Users ("Students") agree to adhere to this policy when scheduling and canceling tutoring sessions.

1. Cancellation by the Student
1.1. Students may cancel a scheduled tutoring session without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
1.2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total session fee, unless otherwise specified.
1.3. To cancel a session, Students must notify the Company through the online platform or by contacting yew.ltd@outlook.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

2. Rescheduling by the Student
2.1. Students may request to reschedule a tutoring session without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to the availability of the tutor.
2.2. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may incur a rescheduling fee equivalent to 50% of the total session fee, unless otherwise specified.
2.3. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee the availability of the tutor for the requested time.

3. Cancellation by the Company
3.1. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tutoring sessions due to unforeseen circumstances such as tutor unavailability, technical issues, or emergencies.
3.2. In the event of a session cancellation by the Company, Students will be notified as soon as possible, and efforts will be made to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time at no cost to the student.

4. Refunds
4.1. Refunds for canceled sessions may be issued at the discretion of the Company or in accordance with applicable laws.
4.2. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method and may take 3-5 business days to reflect in the payee's account.

5. Exceptions
5.1. The Company reserves the right to waive cancellation or rescheduling fees in exceptional circumstances, such as documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances beyond the Student's control.

6. Policy Changes
6.1. The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Students are encouraged to review this policy periodically for changes.
